Rentr was born from a simple frustration — finding a rental home in Zambia was harder than it needed to be. We decided to fix that.

Making Rental Housing Accessible to Every Zambian

The rental market in Zambia is largely informal. Listings spread through word-of-mouth, outdated Facebook posts, and handwritten signs. Renters waste weeks, sometimes months, searching for something basic. Agents and Landlords lose leads because they have no proper platform to showcase their properties.

Rentr changes that. We built a dedicated mobile app and web platform where verified Agents and Landlords can list properties properly, and where renters — especially low to middle-income earners — can search with confidence, contact directly, and find a home without the run-around.
